Review
pdfFactory from FinePrint Software creates a PDF document or prints to paper without needing any Acrobat software installed.
The application works inserting itself into the "Print" dialog box of all the programs installed on the user computer.
Within any program, with an open document, by clicking on the "Print" option, user gets the possibility of "printing" to pdfFactory. By choosing this option, pdfFactory displays a dialog window taht starts with the document 'preview' section where the user can choose 'view' the PDF document and apply deep zoom to it, 'save' the original document in a PDF format (PDF file), as well as 'send' it by email as an attached PDF file, directly print the document or close the dialog.
Before selecting any of these commands, user can set different options such as general settings, fonts, document info and security, links, etc. The application 'Auto saves' the treated documents, before user sets options, and allows later on these files to be deleted.
The application can merge various PDF documents for easying the delivering by sending just a single document (created out of different selected PDF single documents).
The 'preview' function is very useful for watching documents without opening any Acrobat application, and zoom to it up to 400 times.
